We carefully review every item of feedback we receive.  Our accounting, IT and management teams work hard to make sure your feedback leads to real improvements that every client can see on Etax.com.au.

Okay!  This is a difficult request for the Etax IT team, because the tax estimate calculation includes HUNDREDS of possible items.  However, we're working on it now! In 2012, when you enter your tax return details, you'll see a live-updated tax refund estimate at the top-right corner of the page.

Our live estimate will be more accurate than the ATO's estimate tools (which, for example, over-estimate refunds by omitting Medicare figures).  Note that your estimate may change after it is reviewed by the Etax Accounting Team; We always aim to get you a better refund if possible and to help prevent any problems with the ATO.
